About Shikhi AI

Shikhi AI (শিখাই) is an AI-powered educational platform for preteens in Bangladesh. The idea is simple: kids are already glued to screens — so why not invest that same attention in something meaningful? Shikhi AI is a playful, voice-powered learning buddy that helps children master English, Math, and Science through interactive lessons guided by their own personal AI tutor.

What we are building

Available on iOS and Android at shikhiai.com, Shikhi AI makes learning feel less like a burden and more like play. As co-founder and lead software engineer, I lead the technical side — system architecture, backend, GenAI integrations, mobile infrastructure, cloud deployment, and production releases — for a two-person startup turning education into an adventure.

Happy to announce that Shikhi AI has been selected as one of the Top 25 at the BDApps Innovation Summit 2025 among 1500+ submissions. Our idea is straightforward: a playful, voice-powered learning app designed specifically for Bangladeshi preteens. It helps them master English, Math, and Science through interactive lessons guided by their own personal AI tutor. Thanks to bdapps for providing the platform and the opportunity to showcase what we're building.

Today's kids are glued to TikTok and Youtube. The thought behind Shikhi AI was simple: what if that same screen time could be invested in something meaningful? Our goal is to make learning feel less like a burden and more like play—something fun, something exciting. With that mission, we started building Shikhi AI—an AI-powered learning buddy that helps children connect with studies in an interactive and playful way. Reaching the Top 5 among 1500+ ideas at the BDApps Innovation Summit 2025 has been a huge milestone for us, and it gives us the motivation to keep moving forward. A big thanks to bdapps and Robi Axiata PLC. for standing beside us on this journey. As Nelson Mandela once said: "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." We want to place that weapon in children's hands—not as something heavy or boring, but as a smart and friendly companion. We want learning to feel like an adventure. That's what Shikhi AI aims for.
